言うまでもなく、最高のノイズ/エレクトロ・ワンマンバンド。MERZBOWは秋田昌 美による、ジャパニーズ・ヴィーガン・ノイ ズプロジェクトだ。
1981年から活動し、400以上もの音源をリリース。マイク・パットンや、Boris、
Sun O))),Sonic YouthやFull of Hellなどの数々の人物/バンドともコラボして いる。
Obscene Extreme Asia 2015を記念して、極めて貴重なスペシャル・ライブを披 露してくれる。皆を驚愕に陥れること間違いなし！！見逃すな！！
バイオグラフィー
MERZBOW is a Japanese vegan noise project of Masami Akita.
Since 1981, Merzbow has released over 400 recordings.
Akita has cited a wide range of musical influences from
progressive rock, heavy metal, free jazz, and early electronic music to
non-musical influences like dadaism, surrealism. Since the early 2000s, he has
been inspired by animal rights and veganism. In 1995, Relapse/Release
Entertainment Records released first series of three extreme Death-metal
inspired album of Merzbow titled 'Venereology'. Release Entertainment also
released Merzbow-Gore Byond Necropsy collaboration album.
Merzbow will releasing new collaboration album with Boris on
Relapse Record on 2016.
Merzbow also work collaboration with different kind of
artist such as Mike Patton,
Boris, Sunn O))), Keiji Haino, Jim O'rourke, Porn, Full of
Hell, Balazs Pandi, Thurston Moore, Sonic Youth, Maurizio Bianchi, The New
Blockaders, etc.
