Formed in 1985 in Osaka Japan by the vocalist Tottsuan.

Inspired by UK Hardcore punk band such as DISCHARGE and even faster U.S. Hardcore punk bands like MINOR THREAT and DEAD KENNEDYS etc.

In December 1986, they released their first EP “Leave Me Alone” from SELFISH RECORDS. The slogan of the EP was “World’s Fastest”. At the time it was very hard to find vinyl of blast beat pioneers such as SIEGE and LARM in Japan, and NAPALM DEATH haven’t yet released first album “Scum”.

In 1987,relased their 1st album “Don’t Be Swindle” from SELFISH RECORDS. 1989, released split flexi with NAPALM DEATH from their label BURIAL OF SOUND. Toured Europe with NAPALM DEATH and released their 2nd album “What’s The Truth?” from SELFISH RECORDS. This album was more Thrash/Death Metal oriented than their previous releases with more serious lyrics and sang in English. 

March 1993 released their 3rd album “Gate Of Doom” from Toys Factory. In February 1994, 4th album “Vicious World” produced by Colin Richardson was recorded in the U.K and released in July.

1996, RISE FROM THE DEAD vocalist Naoto who once was a member of SxOxB Re-join the band as Vocalist.

1999, Released their 5th album “Dub Grind” from Specialized Fact.

2002, Etsushi ex vocalist from fast core band Bi-Pass joins SxOxB as vocalist

January 2003, released one song on a compilation from Toshiba EMI. In October they re-recorded 25 “Hard-To-Find” songs from their early years with their new vocalist Etsushi, and released as their first self cover best album “Still Grind Attitude”.

SxOxB is a band with Hardcore/Punk background that musically evolved and inspired the Death/Thrash Metal scene, which made them create a wider fan base. They’ve been creating music with their punk inspiration and attitude from day one, and unexpectedly became the pioneer of Grind/Fast Core with out following any musical style or trend. They’ve destroyed every musical and cultural barrier around the world. They are still the most inspiring Punk/Hard Core band from Japan in this day. 2015, SxOxB is still evolving and still Grinding!
