Fast, furious and as real as it gets, Korean grind unit NAHU originally formed as death metal band, but only the sort of toxic collision of pedal-slamming grindcore and menacing old school death metal found on debut album "Eternal Recurrence Of Carnage" could house their anger.
Constantly evolving in sound and line-up around core members Saryu (vocals/strings) and Jinman (drums), playing with everyone from Japanese grindcore bands to local punks â they'll feel right at home amid the punk, grind and chaotic noise worship of OBSCENE EXTREME ASIA 2013.
Biography
When Nahu was started(1999), they played death metal. Nahu have tried to make the crystal structure of their rage and fast sound. Maximum 4 pieces, Minimum 2 pieces, Nahu has kept transformed their appearance and sound.
In 2002, they had several members changes, Nahu decided that their musical identity is grindcore, currently keep playing with origin member Saryu(Voices/Strings) and Jinman (Drums). After defined their sound with grindcore, Nahu has gained fame with bunch of demo, compilations. And had had show with bunch of Japanese grindcore band, and with other hardcore bands ( Sete Star Sept, Champion, etc). At last, in 2012, finally they released their very first time full-length album [Eternal Recurrence of carnage]. 21 songs in 20 mins will tear your ears up and make your heartbeat faster. In addition, With broad-mindedness of taking hardcore â punk music, they organized local hardcore-punk crew, took leading position to make more active Korean hardcore â punk music scene. Without hesitate and prejudice of music, they played various field like extreme music, hardcore , even punk rock with 13 years history.
